Broken Bat Baseball League has openings

BBBL has some openings in their league. Modern league currently in the first month of 2023. 20-80 ratings, coaching and scouting enabled, DH in both leagues. See below for more details. This league DOES plan on moving to OOTP 21 sometime in July, so do keep that in mind.

These teams are open:

Chicago Cubs
Last GM made some irresponsible signings and the team has suffered through some down years with overpaid veterans. However, they could have around 90 million cleared this off-season. Farm system is ranked 18th according to OSA

San Francisco Giants
They haven't made the playoffs since 2016, but improved their win total by 20 (to 83) last season. They have a relatively low payroll given their budget (132.7M). Their farm is ranked #1 in the league, and includes (2) 5 star SS

Washington Nationals
Team is on the decline, although they still have some studs like Rendon and Soto. They shed 2 big contracts in the offseason and could be one offseason away from contending again. Their farm is ranked 21st in the league.

Cleveland Indians
They've made the playoff 7 of the last 8 seasons, and won 88 games last season. They have the best catcher in the league, and their farm is ranked 7th in the league

Pittsburgh Pirates
They've been consistently in the 73-85 win range, with no playoff appearances since the league started. Payroll is low (85M) and their farm is 15th in the league, although that doesn't include a couple potential 22 year old studs

Tampa Bay Rays
They've cracked 80 wins just once since the league started. No sugarcoating it, they will be a tough team to rebuild, as they also have the 28th farm system, but they have a pair of studs who could rapidly improve that (Brendan McKay and Brendan Rodgers)

If you're interested, email me what team you want (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Thanks!

Hey guys this is Joe from back in the day when the league started (Oakland before the file reset). Looking to get back in a league and wondering if you had any openings?
