GREAT start
I still relish fond memories of the '845 Tigers and their great start. After playing since just prior to OOTP2007, I've finally seen them bested...
in a 1969 random startup league. The Braves (not my team) are loaded with such household names as Rich Bordi (10 saves) and Dutch Zwilling. Smoke and mirrors it may be, but what a start. Frighteningly, the Reds that trail them have Cobb, Sam Thompson, & Gehrig...and an aging Pete Alexander.

A division with the two best records in baseball, and also the most lopsided one. Those two don't tend to mix.

But it's not the whole season, right? After the regular season their .867 can drop to modest .440.
