Question regarding Random Debut Initial Pool!

Hi, everyone!

Most of you might remember my project from last years version called "Level Playing Field." Before I re-start that project, armed with the new version of the game and an awesome new computer -- I have a question for those of you with experience in random debuts.

Obviously, our initial pool starts with some star players who are far past the prime of their career, and thus will have no chance at the Hall of Fame. Here is my question...

I don't want to remove these players from the pool, but has anyone had an issue with re-importing a new version of these players at a later date? For instance, in the test I ran last night to make sure of my settings, I had a 37 year old Hank Aaron in the initial pool...

Now, in these instances, if I was to import a "new" Aaron say 20 years down the road, will it cause any errors in the engine. I'd like to be able to give ALL players a chance at a full career, not just the ones lucky enough to enter through subsequent ammy drafts.

Thanks very much for any input!

If you delete a player from the initial draft pool, he will show up as a rookie at a later date.
Why don;t you start with fictional players in year one and set the draft pool for June that way they will all be rookies. Maybe even set the age of all fictional players for 40, so 90% of them will retire after the 1st year. Don't forget to set age to 0 after game starts. I did this once but i gave up on it before the ammy draft.
