I believe this is from a CFL concept for a new Halifax entry. I remembered watching the old AHL team so I thought it would be a great name for a baseball team.

Wow, really, how did you do? I lived in NB for five years a few years back and during that time was when Matt Stairs made a brief swansong for Fredericton. Never got to PEI though I always meant to go! Must say I really loved the East Coast of Canada, kind of reminded me how the UK used to be when I was a kid.

Not pretty last summer. Was the opening DH of the season in Saint John and the islanders only had 8 guys making the trip so I went over. Think I had one hit and three walks over the two games. No place for a 40 year old to be thinking he could still play against young guys!

I know I said Quebec was up next, but after doing NB and PEI, decided to take a look at some NFLD senior teams. The white is fictional, and they also wear the Cincinnati cap, so I made a fictional cap as well.

Very cool. Getting on base four times in two games in the senior league after (presumably) not playing for years, is not a bad accomplishment.

I used to live in Moncton and now live in Fredericton. I did coach in the senior league one year (with the now defunct Hub City Brewers), but also was a call-up for a couple seasons as the team I played on was the affiliate team for the Brewers.

I also used to be a reporter in the area and covered the league occasionally as well, including interviewing Matt Stairs for his aforementioned Fredericton Royals swansong. Great guy!

And nice logos as well. I've always loved Chatham Ironmen's logo/uni, so cool to see it reproduced in OOTP.

Yeah, played in 98 and 99 with the Morell Reapers (great name!) and 2000 with the Summerside Cubs. Lots of fun times but the travel commitment and cost become to much to overcome. Retired to the intermediate level. Actually excited for the Canadian National Oldtimers tourney to come back to Charlottetown this summer. The last two times it was in the Maritimes we finished second and third.

Awesome, I heard of that tournament and believe I will be there, as a guy I know is putting a team together.

Ready to post some Quebec teams, as I just completed a number of new uniforms to fill out my Quebec High A League.

I took this from a concept for the Ottawa Voyageurs. The logos were too nice not to use.
