DFA transaction needs improvement
When I do a Live Start using current MLB teams, a bunch of players start in the designated for assignment transaction menu option.
Once I move them all to their proper levels, that transaction menu option disappears. It should be available all the time to hold players I want to DFA (usually meaning the Mets actually DFAd them). #LFGM |

Hm, good point, I'll look into why that's disappearing from the dropdown

Ok so the reason the dfa transaction is not available is because the secondary roster rule is disabled on mobile for simplicity. You only see the menu while there are players on it because they are there due to the live start and need to be handled, but once there are no players left on it the menu can't be seen since it's not needed.

Thanks for checking, Will. This works for me because I aleays disable players' right to refuse demotion. For users who want to keep the default setting for that, they would have to release all players who have been DFAd (assuming they are trying to keep accurate rosters of the team they are using). Often, those players agree to stay in the organization, though, so releasing them means you have to trade for them again. Seems like it makes more sense to just keep the DFA list active. Since we can't actually designate players for assignment, and the players that somehow end up on the DFA list having been DfA'd, how about replacing it with a permanent inactive list? It would be both for the postseason guys who aren't on each round of the postseason and players who are injured in real life but not in the game? And do you know what is causing a bunch of players from each team, including active players, to be automatically placed on the DFA list? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
