Changes in Starting Pitching with new update?
I was wondering if anyone else has seen a change in the way their starters are being used with the new update. I have the pull starter bar all the way to slow and in the past would have most starters go pretty deep and throw 100+ pitches most games they pitched well (all starters at 98+ stamina). I've noticed this week that they seem to be getting pulled much earlier in situations where I wouldn't think they'd get pulled at a much lower pitch count.
One example: 97 Cy Young with 100 stamina got pulled after the 6th inning of a game with a 5-1 lead after throwing only 79 pitches. Stat line was 6IP/6h/1R and he wasn't sent out to start the 7th. He hadn't thrown over 100 pitches in his previous 3 starts so was definitely at 100% going into the game (5 man rotation). This is just one example but I have plenty of more similar instances this week. Curious if anyone else has seen this as it playing havoc with my bullpen. Every time I log in the pen is mostly yellow or worse and in years past the starters pitched way more innings so it wasn't a problem. Interested to see if it's just an odd week or if it's a new change. Hope everyone has a great weekend! |

No, there was no change. Probably just a small sample size issue here.
