Transferring Game/Data to a New Computer
I have been playing OOTP 20 on my desktop since December 2019 and just finished the 2034 season. I am about to buy a new laptop and want to make sure I don't lose any of my data/stats and can continue with the 2035 season. I'm a little paranoid about losing 15 seasons worth of history. What do I need to do?
Do I first need to use the download link and license key from when I originally purchased the game to get it onto my new laptop? Or do I just save and transfer the OOTP Basebell 20 file, particularly the "NewGame.ootp20lg" file, from my desktop? I don't see any other historical files to transfer, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks in advance for your advice. |
