AHL, Playoff Roster
Hello, I'm using Beta build 3.0.56 and playing a sandbox game and got a job offer in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies. I took the job and ended up finishing first in the league and battled our way to the league semi-final series.
The only problem is I just had a bunch of players called up to the big leagues after finishing the last series and now don't have enough players to dress to advance to play the first game of this series! In the bottom left of the screen you can see that I am down to 14 players and I had tried to just go with 3 forward lines but apparently I don't have enough players under the age of 26 or something? I'm not sure how I got into this position that I can't play the next game due to insufficient players left on the roster? Last edited by ElvisMan; 10-28-2016 at 09:17 PM. |

You may need to hand over control of roster moves and transactions (Manager menu-Manager Options-Team Control Settings) and then advance the day to get him to fix it for you, since there's no time to sign anyone else right now.
Edit: now that I think about it, try signing a player yourself first - I think we added an override at some point that lets you sign guys instantly if you're in this situation. Last edited by JeffR; 10-28-2016 at 09:43 PM. |

Thanks Jeff, unfortunately I was already on game day and the players I offered a contract wanted some time to think about it.
I remembered about commissioner mode so I edited two of the free agents and just assigned them to my team so I could advance the day. |
