Just A Few Questions

Hi guys I have a few questions. First will you be able to mod the game like ootpb?
If so will the graphics include helmets? Because I have alot of madden graphics that I could convert. Will you be able to have some of the defunct leagues like USFL,XFL,NFL Europe,WFL,WLAF and so forth ? Will you be able to expand the NFL if you wanted to ? If we are going to be able to mod the game can you give us the perameters like what size the helmets have to be, or the logos and things like that ? And can you give us a place to post graphics here within the forums ? thanks for your patience can't wait for your response to these questions or for the release of the game

Hi,

There will be some modding ability, but it will not be to the scale you see in OOTP (it is the first version of BTS after all).

We are still deciding how to do the facegen/helmets. So I don't know at this stage about that.

You will be able to create some custom leagues.
However, the main thing which would stop them being exactly the same as the real life counterparts is that they would be based on a the general NFL system; for example a league based in England would draft players from Colleges/Universities in England.

TBD for V1, I need to work out how we can have real players, along with custom teams/divisions.

Thank you,
Francis

Another note about those leagues: The XFL, for example, had some differences in their rules from the NFL (no fair catches on punts, as an example), so that's another way in which a custom XFL league wouldn't quite be like the real thing, even if you entered all the teams and players, with ratings.

And that's what's holding us back from putting the CFL in: It has so many rules differences that one could argue that it would require a separate game.

not much point in adding expansion unless you add deleting teams as well (and maybe a dispersal draft).

we all know that game will never come so I think us CFL fans would be willing for a give and take on some of the rules to start with No doubt there are many different rules besides number of downs.

EDIT: and can we get rid of this default double spacing in posts...it's been driving me crazy for years. Sorry off topic.

Will we be able to edit draft classes fully? I always like to create myself in a class as well. I might have asked this before but if I did, I cannot find where I asked.

You can edit the college players, so if you wanted yourself in one of the classes, then you could pick a random college player, re-name him to you then watch him get drafted (or not depending how good he is!)

Thank you,

Just put all the player names/ratings into a CSV file that can be download separately and imported into the game.
