Our second season (1951) began tonight! Its weird seeing the teams that were promoted/relegated last season in different tiers this season.
Our sister league, American Circuit, also began 1951 tonight. |

We need one (possibly, two) to replace non-exporting owners.
If you're interested in a great promotion/relegation league, fill out the owner application on the home page of the league. Its the yellow button on the top right. If you're looking for a bit of a different way to strategize as an OOTP owner, this is the place for you! ::British Baseball......an OOTP promotion/relegation league set in the UK!:: Last edited by Cooleyvol; 04-14-2011 at 05:52 PM. |

Ok, our definite number of need is two owners who would like to be involved in a great promotion/relegation league set in England in our second season.
Dynamic FA offseason using f.montoya's auction application. Tier and League Cups in addition to the great 38 series season with soccer style scoring. You can't miss out on this! |

BBS is nearing the halfway point of its second season (1951)!
Both cups are full speed ahead and the regular season is very exciting as well. Keep an eye on us...............promotion/relegation doesnt get much better than what the BBS (and American Circuit) has going on. Also, look for at least one more league falling under the World Baseball Organization to open in 1952. |

We pass the 3/4 post tomorrow with great races in all three tiers and a great set of Tier Cup competitions.
The Busby Cup (league wide) has now reached the semi-final phase with one Tier 2 club still in the running for the automatic spot in the upcoming Trans Atlantic Series with the clubs from the American Circuit! We have three or four on the waiting list, but we invite anyone interested to come join the forums and get involved. |

How do you handle the promotion playoffs? Is it a regular season, playoff or exhibition game?

3 Vacant Clubs
As we near the end of 1951 (our second season), the BBS has three vacancies, all in the top tier:
Leeds White Rose --A good club maybe missing a couple pieces to contend for the overall championship. In danger of relegation, so a new GM might make the difference in the final two fixtures to keep the club in the top flight. Pier Head 1207 Based in Liverpool, this club is mid table and basically safe from relegation. A shot at Champions League play should West Reading win the Busby Cup's automatic qualifying spot. Malin Bridge 1297 1950's Society champs. This club already has a gold star on their logo and is top three this season. A little retooling in the offseason could see them again on top. Already secured a spot in the upcoming Champions League with our American sister league. As I said, we have two fixtures left in the season, then we're on to our offseason free agency auction which is automated and a straight high bidder wins on any FA not resigned and any new players who enter the league's free agent pool. If interested, you should fill out the application on the league's website (linked in my signature). We look forward to hearing from you and wish you luck in the promotion/relegation world of the British Baseball Society. |

Seriously, I so wish I had RL time for this league, it looks excellent. All I can do is bump so others notice.
