1984 ENTRY DRAFT FIRST ROUND RESULTS

And Dominik Hasek was taken in the 6th round, 130th overall by the Washington Capitals. Yes, the iron curtain is still a thing in this universe.

In real life, the Colorado Rockies moved to New Jersey to become the Devils. Well, in this universe, they stay. I think you know where I'm going with this.

A world without the Devils? Hooray!

what intrigues me is Calgary...how's Atlanta doing attendance wise? is Calgary gonna be a future expansion option?

also, the nhl's future is forever changed with that last draft!

glad to see cinncinati coming to their own! it does help having messier, kurri and liut in goal! Dallas, though, has missed their mark alot in the last two drafts...itll bite them in the backside if this continues...

also, goddamn, Colorado drafting really well, and it's paying off big time with that upset against the oilers!

Who knows. Maybe I'll snake them in somewhere when the mass expansion of the 90's rolls around.

PARTY TIME!!!

now, what is the blackhawks and habs's rosters? especially now that Roy, richer, Claude lemieux, guy carbonneau, Chris chelios and mats naslund, I believe, aren't on the habs roster in this TL.

also, the city of New York is way more successful in another sport besides baseball ITTL so far.

Oh, and you said something about Mats Naslund not being a hab in this universe. He was a hab until the trade deadline. Oopsie!

1985 NHL ENTRY DRAFT FIRST ROUND RESULTS

In this universe, we would only have to wait another 17 years to see another goalie drafted first overall.
