Gotta be the shoes

Nike's shoes being investigated.

Personally, I don't know how any one has a right to complain. Unless there is a mechanism in the shoes, unless they aren't available to everyone, no one should have a problem with it.

The shoes, along with similar designs from other brands, feature thick soles and carbon plates which act like springs.
World Athletics' rules say shoes "must not be constructed so as to give athletes any unfair assistance or advantage."

LOL spring effect. Where is the bar set to be considered unfair or assisting? Over bare feet? Any good running shoe can be seen to have that effect.

I noticed a huge difference when I bough the first Air Jordan's back in the 80s. They also had a spring effect and I felt like I could run forever. Best 120 bucks I ever spent. But the real difference maker is in their comfort level. Not any mechanism.

Look at the gloves WRs use. They give an incredible advantage over those not using them. I don't know how WRs drop passes using them.
