Actually, since the Nationals franchise hasn't been done yet, I'll listen to my own suggestion and throw my lot in.

1996 Expos

2009 Ryan Zimmerman
1982 Steve Rogers

Kershaw over Koufax?? I like them both but may give a slight edge to Sandy

I like the challenge of adding two players cz it's not an easy decision

Okay Athletics. I will start recent and add in older guys rather than taking the 1932 Philly A's who obviously were stacked!

2004 Athletics (lost out by 1 game)

w/ Jimmie Foxx 1932
w/ Dennis Eckersley 1990 ('04 team had 28 BS)

Lots of ways to go with the A's

Unless someone has already done this...
2010 Boston Red Sox

2000 Pedro Martinez
1941 Ted Williams

Williams can play left, while Darnell McDonald and Daniel Nava platoon in center.
Martinez will knock Beckett and Wakefield out of the rotation.

No this year has to be like 94. It hasn't ended so we are not sure they won't make the playoffs.

Okay guys. I'm closing the team selections. We have 24 teams right now. I will move the Astros to the AL to balance the leagues.

I'll set this up tomorrow (most likely) and then get it started and create a thread in dynasty reports. Out of curiosity, what do you guys want to see about your teams? Just stats (if so, how often? weekly, monthly)? What else are you guys interested in?

Should be fun. Looking forward to getting this going!

Just want to point out this typo, so you don't accidentally import the 2001 Red Sox instead of the 2011 team.

I'd count it as "one that got away", but yeah, they were running away with the division pre-strike.

In 1957 21 year old Sandy Koufax pitched 104.1 innings for the Brooklyn Dodgers, played in 34 games starting 13 and ending up with an era of 3.88 and a 5-4 record. To be honest I'd have chosen a different team and looked for a better team but the title was "If you had a time machine" so I went with the era I'd go back to and the 57 Brooklyn Dodgers would be the team I'd watch, the days of the Dodgers, Giants and Yankees in one city imo can't ever be beaten.

I felt Kershaw was a good addition to the rotation that Brooklyn already have, I did actually think of putting in another bat specially at third base but went with Kershaw. And although they did have Campanella in 57 just went with Piazza's bat to go with the power of Hodges and Snider, if it had been 3 choices a 3B would have been in there 100% as Pee Wee Reese was there most of 57 and he was 38 at the time.

Also don't forget that 57 was the last season of the Brooklyn Dodgers that's why my time machine would be going there.
