What do you do when....
Your best hitter is 8 for 55 with 4 HR and 10 RBI in 17 games?
do you leave him in 3rd or move him further away in the line up? a few day off? i don't know what to do... after almost 110 games, he has .350 AVG with 52 HR and 110 RBI... but he had so much problem lately.... |

Well, unlike real life, spot in the batting order does not affect performance (and some will argue, with sound reason, there is no effect in RL either). I'd leave him where you have him because unless there has been a ratings/talent drop off, the model with "correct" itself and he will start hitting again.

If I have an important series coming up, I might let him sit for a few days and let a guy off the bench start. If the bench guy isn't doing much better, I'll sub him back in.
