Snatched Syndergaard for 8,200 right now, which should be the last significant stepping stone towards the 2019 Live Mets if you wish to ignore the 900 PP Brooks Pounders (49) for the moment.
Btw, "HAH-HAH!!" to the three vultures that tried to snatch the card in the last second. For your kind information, the max bid was 9,669.

Maybe, that's how some garbage get sold for thousands, when two people get that idea on the same card at the same time.

I have the Live Mets down to three cards after paying 155 PP for Familia now (which is about 155 PP more than he's worth bother for). I did that, I might pay in the mid-hundreds for Frazier and Lowrie (both 73s), but I'm not gonna fork over 600 for Brooks Pounders, who was added this week (but Nogosek wasn't?).
I would rather spend $50 on packs before I buy a (49) card for 600 PP. … ...and yes, the packs wouldn't have a Pounders in them. But 20 Familias. Sigh. Also only need Carter and Ojeda for the 1986 Mets, but I am not exactly fond of paying north of 3k for either one.

I have an extra Brooks Pounders since I completed the Live Mets CM before he was added. He shows as gray in the mission, but I can't find him to sell him. It's like he's locked because he's now on the Mets, but he wasn't when I completed it. I think the reason why Pounders was added is because he already existed for the Indians, so it was just change the team for him to be a Met. He wasn't newly created for the Mets. |

I had the only Ojeda listed on the market for most of last week. It finally sold at 6,999 PP. Nice to have a random card in my collection that was part of a mission.

Made a little bit of progress...
Picked up Michael Fulmer for 1500 PP (ugh) because I hadn't seen the card in so long on the AH that I was starting to doubt its existence. That, and Fulmer completed my LIVE Tigers. And I wanted to plug in Harry Heilman as my DH. Figured that 1500 PP was a bargain to obtain the services of Heilman. Also found a Jose Urena for 299 PP, which I actually found reasonable. If I had gotten him a few days ago, my Marlins collection would be done already. But, now there are extra players in the collection to overpay for. I also finished Fireballers and the 2015 Royals collection. I'm close on a handful of others, but getting that Fulmer really made me feel like I'm making some progress. One of the things I want to start tracking at some point is how much I've spent on each mission. Just to self-audit and prevent paying Michael Fulmer premiums on other cards.

just put the names/amount spent on a spreadsheet to keep track..... sooner you start, the easier it is to keep up

Completed 'Submariners' for a standard pack - pulled Joe Magrane and Allan Anderson silver historicals, not bad.

Sorry if this is answered somewhere...
1- How long are the current missions going to stay active? 2- When/ at what interval will new missions be added? I ask because I have over 500 cards and I am not close to ANY missions (other then 1 star standard pack stuff). So i am trying to figure out if i should make a run at one of the current missions or, wait for a new one where i might have more then 15% of whats needed.

Late Edit: Also, I thought for sure the reward for a Rangers related mission would be Michael Young. How is he *still* not in the game? Are they waiting to release his card - any card, as he has none - when the Rangers retire his number in August?

Yeah, I would have thought he'd have a bit more D. On the other hand I have Ken Caminiti on third base already, doing good things in the name of the Furballs, so I shuffled some things around and Captain Wright, J.D. Martinez, and Mel Ott are now sharing DH/RF duties. That is still not a perfect arrangement, but it gets everybody in the lineup for the time being.
