Preview of Padres series; Pujols injury notice
The Cardinals have dropped five straight as they head west to face the San Diego Padres, who sit atop of the NL West.
* Albert Pujols is expected to miss up to three weeks with a strained hamstring and will be placed on the disabled list. As will, Reggie Sanders who will probably miss a week or two with a strained elbow. Being called up from AAA Chandler will be outfielders Floyd Shere and Greg Wallingford. |

The Cardinals will begin interleague play with four games against the Kansas City Royals, beginning with a pair of games at Kauffman Stadium in K.C.
(OOTP really needs to install a do you really want to do this option when it comes to deleting a bundle of e-mails. I got 14 in my box at the same time and when cleaning it out, I accidently deleted two I wanted to keep -- Royals preview and player evaluations -- before I could read/post them.). |
