effect of patch 2 on editted nations files

I've been creating a fictional country in the version of OOTP 2006 that's on my laptop. I haven't downloaded patch 2 yet because I've noted that there are now new countries on the nations file (Montenegro and a couple others).

I assume that I'll need to move my fictional country to the end of the new nations file and then edit all of my towns and cities so that they point to the correct location (or else everyone becomes Montenegrens).

Is there anything else i need to be aware of in regards to my new country before I download patch 2.

If you save your nations.txt work, then patch, then edit cities.txt to reflect the , then start a universe, you should be in good shape.

Did you get create a flag? I think they slipped in some new flags, but I can't be 100% sure as I had them in place a long time ago.

Did you edit any name files?

If the answer to names and flags is no, then your precautionary steps will serve you well, so go patch.

yes I did create a flag but thought that I would just add it back into the folder after I did the download.

This should be at least a 90% complete list (probably closer to 100%, but I might have forgotten something).

Here are the changes to the Nations.txt file:

Montenegro added. Serbia seperated.
Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo seperated.

Here are the changes to the Cities.txt file.
Soul, South Korea, changed to Seoul, South Korea.
Several extremely American cities added to aid in Lahman import.
Two Montenegrin cities added.
Cities in Montenegro and the two Congos assigned to the correct countries.
Added seperate entries for the 5 Boroughs of New York City.

There were several Flags changed. I don't have a complete list with me, as I didn't make those changes.
