PBP Bug - Ground-rule double
Chris Woodward is on first. Paul LoDuca hits a ground rule double for my Mets...but the play-by-play went like this:
...trouble for Redman...he's running hard after it...he's at the wall...and the ball clears the wall on one hop...that's a ground-rule double......Woodward goes to third. but the PBP continues: ....Perez deals the 2-1 pitch from the stretch....LoDuca takes his cut...this one's hit well....out to center field....Redman has a lot of real estate to cover...LoDuca is around first and heading for second....a run scored by Woodward...Redman lifts it off the ground (poor description here, IMHO)....strong arms it to second...LoDuca slides safely into second for a double...Paul LoDuca delivers an RBI double... In checking the box score immediately after, LoDuca is credited with an RBI double, which of course should not be, as the runner should only have advanced to third. Just FYI. Folderol!
