The screen Daximus posted was from the 'league edit' screen in FHM 2014 as opposed to league creation... However, I do believe I was right the first time after checking into this. Some of the same functionalities that were in FHM 2014 in terms of custom leagues won't be in FHM 2, as the greater number of structures means more chance for varying errors to arise. That way to tweak the schedules appears to be one of those things.
Yeah the only reason I posted that was because in FHM14 you could create the custom league but go into the league edit screen within that custom league and change the schedule. I was never once referring to it being in FHM2 I just assumed the same basic options were available. Please don't take your frustration out on me because the Flyers aren't going to make the playoffs this year BeanSobie.

Why would you assume that when Sebastian has said time after time that that function was gone? This has nothing to do with the Flyers and every thing to do with you being too incompetent to read.

I'm sorry Cole. I was ready to drop it, but I'm not going to sit here and take this.

You're the one that started it with your rude sarcastic comment. All I said was it as available in FHM14 and if it wasn't available in FHM2 I'd figure out a work around. Then you had to add in your $0.02 when I wasn't even talking to you as if Cole can't speak for himself. No one asked you. Besides in that post it says they might allow us to define our own structure not they absolutely won't allow us to define our own structure. Structures could mean anything within the games parameters. I was inquiring soley about schedules. Chill out dude, it's a game.

It is a forum, you are talking to everyone. Anyone is free to answer. I'm sorry that you got butthurt over how you perceived my initial comment, but we both got in our points and Cole told us to cut it out. You then came back with another short comment... how about you chill out bud?

My National Hockey League

I am planning (I Hope) to run a 24 team league, with existing real NHL players.

I will have 12 American and 12 Canadian Teams. Some of the US teams will relocate to Canada.

I would rather not have hockey in Florida, Arizona, Texas. Much better in Quebec, Newfoundland, Ontario

Funny sentiment from a guy who is from Texas

So some warmer-climate U.S. teams moving to Canada, which other teams are losing their franchise outright?

There should be a "no thanks" button for posts like some of the ones in this thread.

Anyway, I am definitely creating a custom league. 30 teams. 4 conferences - 1 Canadian conference, 2 American conferences, and 1 European conference. Here are some cities I am thinking of so far:

Canadian Conference:
1. Montreal
2. Toronto
3. Ottawa
4. Edmonton
5. Calgary
6. Winnipeg
7. Vancouver

American East Conference:
1. New York City
2. Indianapolis
3. Philadelphia
4. Columbus
5. Detroit
6. Washington
7. Boston
8. Charlotte

American West Conference
1. Los Angeles
2. Houston
3. Chicago
4. Seattle
5. Denver
6. Las Vegas
7. Anchorage
8. Milwaukee

European Conference:
1. Moscow
2. London
3. Berlin
4. Helsinki
5. Rome
6. Prague
7. Stockholm

I also want to have a Custom League with all the teams from 1974-75 NHL and WHA(with fictional players). Since that equals 32 teams ,I will probably bring in Washington Capitals and Kansas City Scouts the following season(if that is possible).

You did NOT just name it the "Canadien" conference instead of the "Canadian" conference.... -_-

In future games, do you think that an inter-league tournament (like the Champions League) would be introduced? I would love to make a few custom leagues, and pit the best teams from each league against each other in a year end tournament, or something along those lines... As far as FHM 2 goes, I would probably make a smaller NHL (20-24 teams), and bring back some retro teams like Quebec, Hamilton (1920s), and Hartford. I'd probably add a few Canadian teams (eg. Saskatoon, Halifax). I'd get rid of a few Southeastern US teams like Florida, Tampa, Carolina...

With the focus being on getting the real-life game as up to par as possible, I think it's pretty safe to say I don't think you're likely to see a construct like this, that is completely fictional and has no basis aside from in soccer.

Re: the bolded.

That's not quite correct. The Caribbean Series in baseball is effectively an interleague competition between the four champions of the respective winter baseball leagues (Dominican, Mexican Pacific, Puerto Rican [Roberto Clemente], and Venezuelan Leagues).

Ah, sorry. I meant the Champions League Hockey, where all the top teams from Europe play. Just new this season

It did exist and this season it has been revived

I hope it is in OOTP?

It could easily be if the association feature was improved.
