National Baseball League c. 2036 (FINAL DYNASTY)
Welp, after numerous failed attempts and some rough months behind, it is time for my final MLB Manager 2016 dynasty. I am currently simulating to 2036, where I will be taking on the worst team in the league. This is a project I will focus on next to academics and the like. Any feedback will be appreciated.

After a heated debate between owner Bill Wheeler and former GM Ozzie Andrews, xepicx2729 has been named GM of the 61-101 Washington Neptune of the 1st Division of the Metropolitan League.
Scouting report: Pitchers: Starting Rotation: 1. Darryl Jones- Former #12 prospect, Jones is a young (24), well-rounded starter who focuses on control more than anything else. His curveball is nasty but his changeup leaves a lot to be desired. Lowering HR rates show good improvement. 2. Elias Jochems- Jochems is a 27 y/o coming off a career ERA year of 3.66...not good. Making 16 million after signing a contract extension in 2035, he's being paid very well. He offers a 100 mph cutter, and a high groundball percentage. Hoping for a career season. 3. Ralph Adams- Adams is only 22, but his control is an issue and won't look to improve. He has everything except control. 100 mph fastball's lead to a nice K level, but with only a 1.32 K/BB ratio, his walks can be seen as a huge issue. 4. Paul Mathis- Picked up in a trade last year for one of our best prospects, Mathis isn't half bad. He pitched better before being traded, but he also had lots more talent supporting him. Sporting a 96 mph cutter, he brings lots of heat but it comes with a high HR total. 5. Patrick Fox- Our only left handed starter, he's been placed in the bullpen for majority of his career, with the exception of 8 starts. Lots of control bring a good back of the rotation piece. Bullpen: CL: Mike Heath- Lefty closer who was used as both a starter and a closer, finished with a horrid record of 4-13. Nothing special, just a placeholder. SU: Terry Hart- Former starter, he's both a long man and a dominant force with a disgusting changeup as well. Flyball pitcher with still lower HR numbers. SU: Juan Silva- Rookie who is #8 prospect, starts with bullpen role. Looks to develop into large gball pitcher with loads of control. MR: Jorge Gonzáles- Another starter who wants to close, Gonzáles had the same W/L as Heath. Decent but not great. Ed Mullen- Average across board, could break into the rotation soon enough. Paul Christianson- Decent lefty, shouldn't expect great numbers nor horrendous ones. Ramón Rodríguez- Soon to be replaced former starter, was closer at a point last year. Position players will be in next post.

Catchers:
Dave McGuire- Entering his second season, the 25 year old has a nice bat minus power to go with plus speed and DPOY glovework. Should be a menace and is still very cheap. Tom Bell- Capable at both C and 1B, he'll back up with spit starts at both. The 25 year old started the previous two years at catcher but with an average but well-rounded bat and little to no speed, McGuire's development gives him the starting job. Infield: C/1B Jian-cheng Liu- A much better defender behind the dish, he'll start at first anyhow. Coming off a horrid year, he's on a team-friendly contract. No speed and a slightly above-average bat. 2B/SS/3B Owen Boucher- Starting second baseman with nice power but contact issues. Average speed but great D allow for a decent starter. 2B/SS/3B Robert Fox- Starter at third, he's one of the most rounded players on the team. Above average D, decent speed, and a nice bat, coming off two straight career years. 2B/SS/3B/LF José Pérez- Starting at SS part-time, he's good defensively and at not striking out but that's around it. 2B/SS/3B César Pérez- Good pinch-hitter and baseruning specialist. SS/3B/LF/CF Alberto González- Speed and decent pop, 31 year old will spot at SS. Outfield: LF Donald Fontaine- Canadian star, he's the best player on the team. Killer bat with a cannon arm. LF/CF/RF Rubén Vargas- Only average in right firld and crap everywhere else, he'll start in center. Nice bat and speed. RF Dale Miller- Good looking right fielder, good bat witha good arm but no speed. LF/RF Tim Russell- Great speed and decent defense call for pinch runner. Bat is capable as well. LF/RF Saul Wilson- Good arm, lots of power and great baserunning minus speed.

First order of business: Trade away Ramón Rodríguez and his 5 mil salary. After shopping him around, we got an absurd offer from the Fresno Biplanes. They agreed to send us 1B/LF/CF/RF Rodrigo Quiñones for him straight up. He slides in as the starter while Vargas is moved to 3B. Tom Bell sent down to make room for new reliever Pablo Ramos.

First series is against the reigning champs, the Chicago Superstars.
Game 1: Ortíz vs. Jones Tough loss, really undeserved as well. Jones pitched very well, can't be disappointed. Game 2: Elliott vs. Jochems Not a good game by any means, really wish we were able to rebound from the previous game. Game 3: Richardson vs. Adams And we get swept to start the year off. Not good. PotS: Dale Miller by far. A 3 double performance in our second game was astounding and he looks like a force to be reckoned with.
