It will be released as soon as it is ready, so sometime after OOTP 21 launch. There is no planned date yet. Once we have news, we'll let you know But it will be worth the wait...

Will you have to own PT21 for OOTPGO to function when it comes out?

I have no idea about this, but it sounds like yes.

It sounds more like a companion app for the desktop OOTP as opposed to a mobile game. Like it will sync with your desktop game, and then on your phone or tablet, check stats, deal with roster management, drafts, etc.

I'm also wondering if during the actual game, you may have the ability to display more stuff on a tablet and free up screen real estate for your game. like as opposed to the scoring widget for other games live as you play, you could get a list of them on the tablet. Maybe if you're really interested in the outcome of another game going on in real time to yours in a playoff race, maybe the phone/tablet shows the "web view" of the game you want to watch.

A little more than MLB Manager, a lot less than OOTP 21 and access to Perfect team 3.0 on your phone or tablet.

What do you mean with "own PT21"? No, OOTPGO will be a free app with full PT21 support. In solo mode (we call it "Franchise Mode") Historical seasons will cost $0.99 each (same as MLB Manager back then) and the MLB will be $4.99. Fictional leagues are free.

In terms of features, of course the desktop version will be much more powerful in franchise mode, but PT will be fully featured in the mobile game. We will explain more once the game is closer to launch

Quite a bit more than MLB Manager actually, i.e. we will have minor leagues on devices that can support it, and it has the actual OOTP 21 engine & AI, plus 3D in-game.

Thanks for the update! I'm actually more pumped for this game than the main game. Can't wait!

Thanks. This is what I have been waiting for.

Will this have PT access as well?

When is the anticipated release date range?

Mr. CEO! Thank you for your honest transparency! I absolutely love your product and have been playing several years now. You have my word, I will be buying OOTP (and buying Perfect Team points!) every year for the rest of my life!

With a background in computer programming, I can relate in how difficult it is to estimate future timelines...

Go OOTP!!!

that's as pinpoint a release date as you're going to get (and considering the backlash they took for missing the announced dates for tourneys/etc, completely understandable why a date/date range isn't going to be tossed out).
