Odd action by the AI.

So, I was playing the Phillies a three game set.

We played the first game, and the next day this was reported:

More Injury Problems For Philadelphia's Michael Saunders: Michael Saunders's return to the Philadelphia Phillies has been delayed. The 30-year-old left fielder has been in treatment for wrist tendinitis and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Saunders will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 1-2 weeks.

This year Saunders has hit at a .257 clip with 55 hits, 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

Hmm, interesting, delayed.
Considering during the game I just played, Saunders was playing.

Well, that won't happen the next two games, I'm certain.

Except it did.

Is this normal? The AI just ignoring injuries?

Was he actually out or was it a day-to-day injury? If it's DTD, I think the AI can choose to play the player just like a human manager could.

If the injuries are DTD, the ai can choose to play the player or not.

The thing is, he kept playing, so I guess they found something, just nothing that would keep him out of a game.

Lucroy put on Waviers when Brett Nicholas was Activated from DL by Computer GM of Rangers.

Sure, but then "Michael Saunders's return to the Philadelphia Phillies has been delayed," doesn't make sense.
