AI Trading Frequency Option ?

I want to lower the frequency of trades in my league.

Per the manual I went to Game Settings --> AI Setting and the option is not there.

Is it missing or is it somewhere else?

I need to change it. Seems I get trade proposals every day, it gets annoying

It's under rules in your league settings.

Game > Game Settings > AI Settings is where the settings for Trading Difficulty and Trading Preference are located. It sets up how difficult it will be for you to make deals with the AI teams and whether the AI teams will favour prospects or veterans (though this may have changed in 17 - I can't remember). The Settings at Game > Game Settings > League Settings > Rules > Trading Rules are what you're looking for. That will control how itchy AI teams are to make deals. It has five settings: Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High. Obviously, you will want one of the first two if you don't want to keep getting bombarded with offers.

IMHO, it's never been in a logical place and difficult to locate. Trade settings should be collected together. Thanks for proving the answers, though, action!
