getting the extra guaranteed year out of a rookie (the Kris Bryant)

Does this game have a certain amount of time into the season before the rookie has seven years instead of six before free agency as MLB does, most famously with Kris Bryant, and if so how many days or games into the season is it. Super two is June to July from what I understand, but I couldn't find when to call up a guy for the seventh year. Thanks.

Service time is calculated based on 172 days. The rest is simple subtraction.

If you delay a prospect's promotion to the majors from opening day to end of April, you can get that 7th year before he hits free agency which is exactly what the Cubs did & as a result the MLBPA is looking to change the rule.

i think 2015 schedule was 184 days? so if you held someone out for 13 days, they would not accrue a full year and you would get that extra year.

i think 184 is standard for ootp and 30t 162g leagues. custome schedules will be different, obviosuly. you have total control over the 172days value in the settings.
