Graph for Seasonal Wins over Time

I would love to see a printout similar to the one below that shows the accumulation of Wins by Team per Season. It provides a "story" for the season showing win-loss streaks and can be related to trades and/or injuries.

The sample below is from an 8-team, 84 game season, plotted by week.

An alternative is a graph of the number of games above or below .500 clubs are during the season. MLB.com used to have this sort of graph available for every past season but last year it changed to a far less useful "Postseason Probabilities" based on computer simulations of the remaining games left in the season on each date.

An example of what such a wins above or below .500 graph looked like is attached below. It's for the real-life 2013 NL West Division. (It's easy to see from the chart the incredible run the Dodgers went on during that season, when the club went 53-13 .803 over 66 games to move from last place into first.)

LGO, out of curiosity, how are there 180+ units along the x-axis for your 2013 NL West graph? I'm assuming that I'm overlooking an obvious explanation but I'm drawing a blank.

Both suggestions above are far superior and preferable to this, but a very simple graph to implement would be a line graph which shows division rank progressing over time. (e.g. a team that goes wire-to-wire for the pennant would be a horizontal line.)

It's for each day of the season.

Doh! Of course! Thanks. (Somehow I had been thinking solely in terms of games played -- which was obviously impossible in retrospect; there wouldn't be any horizontal segments.)

The +/- .500 graph is actually a bit better LGO.

I would think this would be an easy add-on to the game - simply accumulate the w/l pct. and throw them into a graph.

If storage is a problem over time, they could be erased at the end of the calendar year.

I think it would be great to be able to save them along with the almanac to help put your head around historical seasons.
