Can I simply remove the batter intro music?

Apologies to folks who love these but I can't stand the batter intro music, doubly so because it plays louder than anything else. Can I just remove those files from the sounds folder without the game crashing when it wants to use them?

It should be possible to replace them with blank files of the same length.

I doubt that the length of the audio file matters. Just make a bank 1 second file. You can also edit the audio files (lower the volume) using Audacity. It's a free program.

Deleting them should be fine too, as long as the game is closed before you delete them. If there's no sound files to play we should just ignore it.
