2013 Playoffs
After TB finishes off Cleveland, I will be 2-0, (3-0 if you count TEX vs TB) for the teams I have been cheering for.
I want to see TB beat BOS but not confident that that will happen. Hoping A's sweep Tigers, also not confident. TB over Oak in ALCS. Don't really care who win with LA vs ATL, but leaning towards LA. I like PIT this year and I like STL overall but i am cheering for PIT. PIT over LA in NLCS PIT over TB in WS. These are teams I am cheering for, actual prediction is DET over ATL. Who do you want to see win and who are you cheering for?

In the NL, I'm rooting for a rematch of the 1992 NLCS with the Braves once again heading to the World Series. In the AL, I'd like to see Oakland and Tampa in the ALCS with the Athletics going to the Series but losing to the Atlanta. As far as actual predictions go, I really don't have any idea. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut favorite. It appears to be a fairly wide open field.

Want to see happen:
A's over Tigers Rays over Red Sox Dodgers over Braves (only because my stepdad bleeds Dodger blue and he'll be at my house visiting during the LCS) Pirates over Cardinals A's over Rays Pirates over Dodgers (don't really need the Dodgers to win, just want to have games to watch with him ) A's over Pirates |

Could you imagine the ratings nightmare that would be Pirates vs. Rays/A's?
(Diehard) Baseball fans would eat it up though. Last edited by CD1083; 10-03-2013 at 01:40 PM. |

I only saw them show it once during the Reds/Pirates game. If Atlanta and Pittsburgh do indeed make it to the NLCS, I know I won't get tired of seeing it.

I want the Bucs, but it's hard to have confidence in them. Especially, after losing today.

If we had not swept the Bucs in September I would be a little worried. That helped my confidence in the Birds quite a bit.

My confidence may be misplaced. Great game for the Bucs.

I have missed both games so far. The one series i want to watch and i keep missing it and probably will miss the entire series unless they play at night or make the NLCS.

Mattingly starts his stud on 3 days rest. Instead of going with Medlan, Fredi Gonzalez starts Freddy Garcia, who promptly gives up a lead off homer. One can only hope this idiot gets ****canned when the season is over.

Do the Braves have no choice? If I'm standing in the field tonight as an Atlanta Brave I'm thinking 96 wins NL east winners and we have Freddie effing Garcia and his 72 mph junk pitching.

Medlen only threw 74 pitches in Game 1. There is absolutely zero reason why he shouldn't have started this game. Gonzalez is such an awful manager.
