Question Schedule after 2013 w/ Expansion

I have a question about the schedule generation for my game.

The Background:

Start a new MLB Season, simmed through the entire first season. On the first day of the offseason I expanded the league by 2 teams, 1 in the AL West and 1 in the NL West (giving both leagues 16 teams).

Even though the option for schedule is set to have interleague play, I've gone through two seasons now and not only does the game never create the schedule with interleague play, but it also gives every team the same off day, so for the most part ace starters are always pitching against other ace starters for the entire season.

I would like the interleague and off days to be back and staggered. Is there anyway to do this. I've tried regenerating schedules, changing the the balanced schedule option, but nothing seems to work. Thanks!

You could manually subtract 12 games off each teams schedule, then add 12 interleague games per team but that would be time consuming but it would work. You would need to double check everything to make sure there are no mistakes.

To quote Cras and myself from a very similar thread:

If it isnt, the game will generate its own from scratch, and those schedules are rather piss poor, such as not having different off days for example.

It's just not the same using game-generated schedules. League-wide off-days are weird.
