Question about Colorado elevation

I am managing the Milwaukee Brewers in a standard OOTP 18 game. I am looking at options to bring up because unlike the real life Travis Shaw, my simulated player is having an awful year (.186/.255/.309 in 106 PA). I have 3B Ivan DeJesus Jr hitting (.325/.409/.356 through 134 PA) in AAA Colorado Springs and I am wondering if the game accounts for the elevated nature of Colorado in the simulation. And just as a follow up question, would that impact pitcher's ERAs in that league as well?

elevation itself doesn't affect it, but it's built into the park factors. At least it should be. I don't play with real teams as much so I can't tell you how CS's park is set up

I'm playing with Colorado right now and my batting stats throughout my system (Colorado, Albuquerque, Lancaster, Asheville) are all elevated and my pitching is, on the surface, terrible throughout.

Park factors for sure are set to replicate the effects, and league factors might be as well. Not sure on the 2nd, but basically yes, if a hitter has huge numbers at Colorado Springs you may want to scale those back a bit because they're elevated.

In my EBL league I use Mile High and soon Coors for the Rocky Top Rockies but the city is based off of Pittsburgh. The elevation of Pittsburgh, city size, etc.I'm going to change their elevation after the season to see if theres any major change.
