MAJOR scheduling gaffe

Yeah...can't be in Boston AND Detroit on the same day...just can't.

If you notice the little line below the game at the left, it's being played in Detroit (assuming that's their park). If we can't find a common off-day or another series to tack on a rainout on, then they'll play at the other park, but in this case, Boston is treated as the home team (since they were the home team in the original game).

I'm sorry...

I COMPLETELY missed that. Thought I'd found a hot one...

I'd be more interested in that 5-5 loss that Hansen got himself involved in...

Wow. I'm 0-2 on this, and still stumbled into a bug.

This most recently happened in 2013 when the Reds and Giants were rained out on the 4th of July and neither team had an open date or could correlate for a makeup in Cincinnati. They opted to play a traditional DH in San Francisco, with the second game (which is always considered the makeup game) the Reds being the home team.

The Reds wore their Los Rojos jerseys with their BP hat as the Giants wore their alternate away jerseys (interlocking SF).

I think it was back in 2001 or thereabouts that the Indians played a doubleheader against two different teams at Jacobs Field. They flew one team in for an afternoon game starting at 1:05 and another for an evening game. Pretty sure one of the teams was Kansas City. Can't remember the other. They said back then that this had been done once before back in 1951.
