Can't continue OOTP 20 game after 20.5.47 update
My repro:
1. Applied 20.5.47 update 2. Started OOTP 20 3. Select Continue Game (game I started in OOTP 20) Error dialog: OOTP cannot load this database because it has been created with an earlier version of OOTP. Please use the button 'Import OOTP 19' to import the database. Error dialog: The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version. |

Is there a way to revert the patch so that I can continue my game?

What's more likely is that h the save is corrupt, as you'll also get that error message in that case. To fix that, try loading from the autosave. 1) Open the game and on the start screen, click on Settings (or Preferences in OOTP 11-14). 2) Now click on the tab "Troubleshooting". 3) Click "Open folder containing saved games". 4) Now open up the league folder you're wanting to restore. 5) Then select all of the .dat files in the folder and back them up (just in case) by copying them to a temporary folder or creating a zipped file with them 6) Open the folder called "auto-save". 7) In there, select all of the ".dat" files and copy them to the league folder (the parent of the current folder) overwriting all of the ".dat" files in the league folder. Now start the game and load your league. It should load. If not, let me know.

There's also a chance that by installing the path, it ended up resetting the data directories, so it might be worth at least trying to go through the "load game" to find your save and make sure you're looking at the right folder, since maybe the "Continue Game" got pointed somewhere else.
