All Players All Season - Ratings

If i wanted the ratings of all players for every single season including minor leaguers what would be the best way to do so?

I'd imagine the best way is to combine the EOSRoster for major leaguers and then use the minor league database to get everyone else then import into a fictional league ...

Anyone tried this before?

So this was actually pretty easy to do.

Using a combination of the EOS roster set, master, and milbmaster I was able to grab all lahman id's.

There are debut dates and last game played dates, but they only apply for majors (i think). I took the min of debut date / year player would have been 18 to get all lahman / year combos and then imported into the game in 20 year increments.

This creates ~220K player-season combinations...

Anyway I have the data set in case anyone is super interested.

It will be super-handy for creating franken-players like Bonds with power and patience later career with speed or even to just browse around history.

I might also use it to create a better all-time teams roster set

I'd certainly be interested, as that sounds something like a project I started last year to no avail. The dataset must be fairly large, though.
I don't think you'd be able to host it on most of the available free sites like dropbox, etc.
If getting the dataset directly would not be possible, perhaps instead you could give a detailed description of where to find the files you used and what method you used to import them (I'm assuming) into a spreadsheet.

OK, I've found the files you used from the Data folders in the OOTP installation, EOSRosters, Master, & MiLBMaster csv files, and looked at the data in them.

What did you do next, create a text import file with each player in the range of years he played to populate the game, then export the stats/ratings to a file?
