I agree about the unpredictable nature of bullpens. I think quantity is more important than quality so you can just shuffle them until you find the ones that the game has determined will have a good year.

Are you talking about the diamond Brown? I probably can't give up a diamond slot for a reliever, but he could end up starting for me by tomorrow.

Yes. The diamond one. I think he is a 90/91 (still no power so I can’t check).
He is probably a top 75 pitcher but easily outperformed the 30-40 pitchers ranked higher than him.
yeah....he only works if you have a diamond option in the pen that is not producing (like Diaz).

good luck with Brown...he was my 5th starter last year and got chewed up pretty bad by our league. Not to say you're guaranteed the same results, of course.

New policy: lose a game... someone gets demoted. Lose three in a row... someone gets sold. I should down to the minimum roster by tomorrow afternoon, then I will have to start buying silvers to replace the guys I sell next.
Make sure to throw in the Zorro-esque speech with every underperformer too. It usually works for him least.

Way to go Darmstadt in handing Perfect Pedro his first loss of the season with a 6 run whooping!

13-31, tough go this season.

Putting my rookie Trout and Mays up for auction and trying something new. Just kind of stuck with what I have right now. Might be dropping down to diamond next season.

Well, I'm experimenting with 97 Randy Johnson as a stopper this season, and it's been pretty wild so far. In 44 games he's made 26 appearances with 43.1 IP (on pace for nearly 160 innings!), a respectable 2.70 ERA (but 3.75 FIP) and 8 saves, all of 1.2 IP or longer.

I just swept my brother-in-law with Kevin Brown throwing a no-hitter in the finale. So how sweep that is! Trash talk ensues via text message lol.

Orcin announces that, due to the magnificent showing against Darmstadt, there will be no more demotions or releases for the rest of the day. Thank you.

(Tomorrow is another day.)

Good advice for sure...of course two other Pujols cards are listed now and with a lower price, so I'll hang onto him for a bit.

My team is playing so well right now though, I just can't make any changes. So my most expensive card sits on the reserve roster.

My Seawolves forgot how to hit and pitch. When listing who's hot and who's not, my entire 25 man roster is in the "NOT" category!

I need to fire my Manager! Where is that option!

thanks for the comment....I looked at my db real quick and overall he has performed well....but you are right...he is about a 2.5-3 WAR SP when given 200+ innings as a SP.

I will re-visit his stats after the season since I also see him in a few more leagues so that should help build a better picture.

Wow...finally back online and the Silver Pirates are ahead of Zorro?
In fact the Rocky Point Zorros are in 4th place.....did I miss something today?

Team sale?

So excited to see the Base Stealers starting to maintain the .500 and pick up more wins. I can't wait until that Infield defense reaches 100+.

Of course...it could also backfire with the lack of offense....but we will worry about that another day.

Maybe we should all be happy that the game does not have a player revolt mode for our lack of providing additional players and making improvements.

I am afraid my team would be the first to request a new team owner/manager.
