Does anyone know the answers/steps to how to do the following?

1. Is it possible to post an image and then type below the image? If so how?

2. I have done some digging on various dynasty threads and it seems that it looks like you need to have some type of text before the image. However, I have seen type, then image and then more text. I don't know how to accomplish that either.

I know how post attachments in "manage attachments" but I can't figure out how to get the text where I want it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe people use this button which allows you to insert a hyperlink to an image on some Photobucket type of account. That's how they are able to post an image and talk about it above and below it. Otherwise, you can only attach images such as I have done here:

The trick is to position the cursor in the text where you want the image to appear and then attach the image.

If you just attach an image, it looks like this... You can't type below it and it says "attached images" above the image.

However, if you attach the image from your computer by this method, you can type above and below it.

Start in advanced posting mode (not quick reply).
Step 1: Click the paperclip (which opens a "manage attachments" window) and browse for the image(s). You can do three at a time.
Step 2. Upload the image(s).
Step 3: Close the window.
Step 4: Click the down arrow beside the paperclip and you will see your image(s). Position the one that you want with your cursor and select it.

You will see this...

Your image will appear where you positioned it. You can also cut and paste the HTML code to move the image if you wish.

I use IrfanView which allows easy editing cropping etc. and insertion of text.

Orcin, I have been here for almost 12 years (I began my forum life as somebody else until age two-and-a-half in forum years) and I never knew that procedure until now.
