Goalie Start Options

I can't get any of the values in the goalie start screen to change. I'm the GM of Columbus in sandbox mode, started in 16/17 and am now in the playoffs for 2019. In Setup I have "use goalie start" checked. Under manager options I have myself in control of lineups. My starting goalie is listed as number 2 in the strategy screen. I can't change any lineups in this screen. I get a cross hair from my mouse but nothing happens when I click on any player. For the frequency values in the Goalie Start menu I click on the up and down arrows but nothing happens. I can't click on the box to lockout values. The game changes the values on it's own. I've rebooted several times. I've demoted both goalies to Cleveland (AHL), brought them both back up but nothing changed. The starting goalie is number 2 and the backup is still listed as number one in the strategy screen. Everything else seems to be working. I can still play the game but I have to rely on the AI for lineups and goalie starts still.

Are you in GM-only mode? If that's the case the starter choice is up to the head coach.

Yes, I am. I thought with the manager options set to me for lineups it would override it? Since I'm only in my third year I'll start over as a manager. I wanted to try Path Of Glory anyway. Thanks.

Nope, that'll always be left up to the head coach if you have one, regardless of the manager options.
