Scouts loosing asingments

In historical sandbox, (1980) I'm assigning scouts to look at the entry draft for 16 weeks. A week later, they come back with thier findings and they're marked as having no asingment.

I tried replicating this, but no luck, the scout stayed assigned for the full four months and reported back at the correct time. What are the exact settings you're using for the assignment?

No league or region, just the draft. (have the draft box checked). Minimum potential 1.0. Everything else is the default setting except for length of asignment, which I keep adjusting down a week each time I have to reset it.

Hmm, that's exactly what I did and it didn't happen. Could you upload your save and we'll have a look at that to see if we can tell what exactly is going on? Uploading directions for our ftp site are here, or you can put it on a file sharing site like filedropper.com or dropbox and send me the link.

Finished the season, got to the draft and discovered that not a single player was scouted.

Started up a whole new historical game and ended up with the same problem

Yup, it turned out to be a bug, Malte fixed it yesterday, so it'll be in the update.
