Team control settings

I have noticed some GMs either by design or accident put transactions or minor league signings/release on Manager (computer) and they are signing released players like no ones business not even allowing them a chance to be bid on by other online GMs. Anyone ever experience this?

I have seen that in an on-line league where we had several teams without human GMs. The commish put the AI in control of those teams and we saw exactly what you are seeing.

What I think is happening is that the human GMs get to make moves once every 7 days (or whatever your sim length is) but the AI gets to make moves daily. So lets say your sim runs Monday to Sunday. A human team releases 10 players on the export for Monday. The other human GMs won't see those players and be able to make offers until the following Monday once they update. Meanwhile the AI gets to make offers to those players all week. Also, an AI team may release someone on Wednesday and another AI team signs him on Saturday and the human GMs never see them as FAs.

In your case it sounds like you have human GMs who have set it so the AI can make those moves and that gives them the same advantage as an AI team would have in the scenario I described above.

Sounds like something that should be disabled for online leagues??

This might be something that online leagues will have to 'house rule' and it would be nice if it could be turned off in-game.
