I swear that he's Yuniesky Betancourt 2.0. Maybe with a slightly better eye. Based on his record and on theirs, there's no way he's Puig or Cespedes or Gourriel or Abreu. No way. |

And yeah, no 80/80 or close to 100/100. I'm guessing the PECOTA just didn't want to give a max rating. |

Also Silver Slugger's are called Platinum Stick Awards in the game. Extremely easy fix for me to do, but probably something you guys want to fix. This is probably the wrong thread for that though.

Incidentally, you (and anyone else) can change any ratings you disagree with, or fix any issues which have been reported here. You may know this already, but in case not, you can go to your Manager Settings screen, and turn on Commissioner mode. Then when you click the Editor tab on any Player Profile, you'll be able to edit their ratings as you like.

Yeah I know, but I don't want to mess. Everytime I do I mess something up. And anyway some of them really needed to be changed to make it realistic such as A-Rod's defense and Tanaka's splitter.

Bud Norris starts the season in Triple-A. Not sure if this is a roster issue or an AI issue, but since he starts there instead of being demoted I feel like it's an oversight since he's one of the most expensive pitchers on the team.

very minor thing, but the popularity thing needs to be addressed.
yes popularity is a subjective thing, but some very obvious issues in the roster set. many of the best players in the league - Buster Posey, Mike Trout are "unknown" Alex Rodriguez is still "extremely popular" I went team by team and made changes. I would say 50% of the changes I made were in the extremely obvious like these examples and a few other were subjective.

That's an AI decision, we could boost Norris but then that opens another can of worms.

I'm gonna post this here, cuz I'm not sure if he's a real guy already in the roster set, or if the game created him, but I simmed a month into the season, then went to the Red Sox transactions page (I wanted to know who Houston had offered that had convinced them to trade Sandoval before Opening Day), and saw that they'd signed a 16-year-old Int. FA from the DR named MacOrtiz. I opened him in the editor and it shows his first name is Mac and his last name is Ortiz, but it displays everywhere as "MacOrtiz".

Dammit Howard!!!!!!
Seems he's had a boost, but that may not be included until the first patch. Last edited by Doc_Brown; 03-20-2015 at 01:06 PM. |

I hope no one is starting a long term career yet. With ST still going for the next 2 weeks, the minor leagues are a mess. There's gonna be a ton of releases, demotions, etc. in the next 2 weeks.

Blatant height and weight errors:
Laidel Chapelli (RF, Tommasin Padova) is listed at 2'9", I'm guessing from a botched metric to imperial conversion. Luis Hernandez (C, Mayabeque Huracanes) and Chun-Yi Wu (free agent RP) are listed with weights over 1800 lbs. Shogo Shibata (free agent RP), Koshiro Yamamuro (free agent RP), and Guan-Chen Liu (free agent LF) are listed with weights under 100 lbs. |
