Game doesn't remember "player ratings displayed relative to" settings
Whenever I reload my minor league game, ratings are always displayed relative to the minor league, even though the checkmark to do that is deactivated. I have to set the checkmark, then uncheck it again.
It seems like the game correctly remembers that I set it to "false" when loading my game settings, but sometime during the loading process it forgets that it knows and defaults to "true". The flag/variable/whatever is still properly set when you click on the checkmark after loading, so I'm guessing it's an issue with the loading process. |

I think we'll need league files to take a look at this, so if it's possible to upload them as per the instructions in my sig, that would be a big help. Thanks!

Are you changing between different save files, or are you only ever loading one save?
Just getting a little confused about the sequence of events here and what the problem is. Is it the "relative to" checkbox that is getting set and unset, or just the league selected that changes? If the relative to checkbox is off, then the league listed next to it shouldn't matter, as far as I know. Are you seeing cases where that is being used even though the relative ratings checkbox is un-checked? |

I apologize upfront if this becomes a little convoluted.
First, I was mistaken about the sequence of events required for the bug to appear, and what causes it to "fix itself". I get the wrong ratings if I reload the game and immediately move on to the Roster screen, or the Lineup screen, and I'm assuming any other screen that shows ratings. Going to the Game Settings screen *at all* is what fixes it. Checking and unchecking the checkbox was a red herring. To hopefully guarantee perfect clarity about what the issue is and how to make it appear, I made a 36 second recording with OBS Studio. I was able to reproduce the issue in a fresh MLB standard game. I now have two save files instead of one in which the issue occurs, and changing between them doesn't affect it. I uploaded the new file as "Silfir_April_2019.zip" as per the instructions, provided I understood the instructions. (The reason I didn't upload the original league file was that I mistakenly assumed I had inadvertently fixed some sort of league file corruption for about ten minutes, and tried to make it happen again.) I hope this helps narrow it down somehow. If you don't get the issue on your end, I can only imagine it has to do with file permissions or something. Last edited by Silfir; 04-10-2019 at 11:43 AM. |

Thanks. I understand what is happening there, and we should be able to fix this

Bumping this because I am having this same problem and it's driving me nuts.
I set up multiple leagues to do a pro/rel league and the ratings remain relative to the LAST league I created. No matter how many times I change that to the "parent" league, it will not save. I have tried from both the Game Settings tab *and* the Manager Options tab. Neither work. Please advise on the next steps. Obviously, the guy above submitted his file. Happy to do so myself. If this version of the game (XX) is no longer supported, then can someone confirm if it has been fixed in the new version, please?
