OOTP 6.12 / 6.5 features you miss the most

Please post the feature of the previous versions you miss the most in OOTP 2006. Maybe I can squeeze a few into patch 2

By the way, the league accomplishments (no hitters, 3+ homerun games etc.) have already been added to the league history. Also, the "reset, release and start draft" feature will return.

Thanks!

I'd like to be able to manually select the All-Star game (and have it stick to that date) again.

A) When I choose to sim until "x" inning, have the AI manage the team for me (change pitchers if need be, replace injured starters, etc).

B) In-game, allow us to choose an option (such as hold runner on) and sim entire at-bat, not pitch by pitch.

Oh, and having the game work faster would be nice . Right now I'm in 1934 and it takes me about 5 minutes to open and/or close the game.

'erase all career stats'

and

'delete all players'

Also, whenever you exit the game, the 'historical player import options' are re-set to the defaults.

It would be helpful if the options would stay where you set them.

'Milestone watch' was pretty good

and the Team Focus

I REALLY miss the star system. It gave the manager a quick indicator as to what kind of player he was looking at. Understand that it's not possible with this version, but since you asked, I tossed in my 2 phennings.

Being able to filter by Stats and not just ratings when searching FA's.

As long as you're using scouts you can see an overall rating for both current and potential. Although I don't believe you can sort by it at all yet. (Although for me, the color differential makes it easy to scan even having to go through 6-7 major/minor teams in the trade screen.)

I really miss 7 day lineups and Generate Depth Chart from these lineups. Also Milestone Watch and Projected Leaders were always cool. Lastly minor league report would be nice, what good are all the scouts if they aren't going to advise me on my minor league system.

anything resembling some of the previous trade options, like the trading block. at the least, when a human owner proposes a trade to a computer team, it would be nice for the human team's players not to be cleared out from the trade window every time you select a different team to propose a trade to.

Oooo, I second the minor league report.

Maybe you should just add all the features from 6.0/6.5

I believe it IS possible...it would just change depending on which scout you use. I REALLY miss this.

Being able to sort using last year's stats would be nice as well.

definitely erase all career stats, that way those of us who start historical leagues in 1901 don't have guys coming in with 3000 hits and/or 350 wins

also liked the in-game skin/design better on ootp6.5 than this one. hate having to switch back and forth between pitcher/hitter. so maybe adding the old design as a choice if possible?

On the "Statistics" screen under "Sortable Player Stats" it would be cool if we could list only qualified players. I know this may not seem to be a feature from 6.12/6.5 that I miss, but it kinda is. In the previous version we could get more league leaders per category than just the top 9. We can use the sortable player stats to get more in this version too, but it's not so easy if we can't filter out the unqualified players.
