Just looking through the contracts on my Red Sox save and noticed that 2B Marco Hernandez only has a minor league contract. I believe, according to BR, he actually signed a 1-year/$650K deal to stay with Boston. Not a big issue at all, just thought I'd point it out!

They were late additions to the league (and to the db for that matter). I believe we're still working on adding in their players.

Is there a reason the game auto-sets the MLB Draft to 35 rounds instead of 40? It's been 40 rounds for a number of years now.

Jarlin Garcia
Jarlin Garcia should be in the Giants bullpen instead of a free agent.
Thanks |

As COVID-19 broke out, Euro baseball news slowed down significantly at the beginning of the month. At some point this week I plan on trying to pull their Serie 2A/1B (whatever its called now) rosters. Same can be said for the Czech league with SaBaT.

In game, most of the late round picks sign. Whereas in MLB, most don't. So we shortened the draft to keep roughly the same amount of players coming into the league as do in real life.

Wow, good catch! Fixed.
That has (apparently) been in the game for 8 years, and no one ever noticed until you

Noticed some recent contract extensions signed that are slightly off:
Luis Robert - only 2027 listed as an option year, should also include 2026 Evan White - 2026 and 2027 should also be option years Eloy Jimenez - 2025 should be an option year Sources: https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/chicago-...-robert-22648/ https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/chicago-...jimenez-24616/ https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/seattle-...n-white-23226/ And actually now that I'm going through it actually looks like a large number of extensions signed with multiple options on the back-end only show up with the final year as an option. Not sure if this might be a bug or issue somewhere in the code. |

Tucker Barnhart (Reds catcher) is a switch hitter. I didn’t see anything about him now batting exclusively left-handed.

Rule 5 Pick and MiLB FA Issues
Rule 5 picks are having the following issues for me:
-a Rule 5er who suffers a season-ending injury is not having his Rule 5 status automatically removed for the next season. The MLB rule is the player needs to make the 25-man roster or the IL the whole season; however, it would appear the latter rule is not encompassing 60-day IL injuries that remove a player from the 40-man. The net result is a player mistakenly retaining Rule 5 status for a second consecutive year. -Rule 5 picks returned cannot automatically be relegated to the minor leagues, as they "have a major-league contract." However, the contract situation is accurate and states the player has a minors deal upon being returned. Nevertheless, the system does not allow for demotion without exposing the player to waivers, or forced release after a DFA period is up. This is incorrect and should allow for a Rule 5 returned player to be demoted immediately to the minors without requisite 40-man roster placement on his original team. Minor league FA signing issue for players with 30-day release clause: -a player I've signed to a minors deal with a 30-day opt-out but will make anything greater than the MLB minimum is having his salary guaranteed out of spring training if he's still on the MLB roster on Opening Day. I don't mean he actually "makes" the roster; I mean he's lasted all of spring training with the MLB squad but needs to be sent to the minors for those 30 maximum days. While the server still recognizes his contract as a minor-league deal, it does not allow for demotion without waiving him first, which is incorrect. He should be demote-able to the minors and be able to stay there for up to 30 days without his promised money (ex. $900K) being guaranteed unless he's promoted in that timeframe. Hope this all makes sense and please let me know if you need screenshot examples. |

If a rule 5 player is on injured list the entire season he must remain on active roster the following year for 90 days before being demoted.
