How to autogenerate more mlb ready players in amatuer draft?
I was wondering where I could go to change the type of players generated in the amatuer draft. I was hoping to make atleast a first round full of players ready to play right away in the mlb. Is this something that needs to be done manually? Or can I adjust how developed players are?

could export draft class and apply some % of potential for each current ability. could do that per age or age range too. if comfortable with sql, accomplish this with a little less work.
either way, if you set it up correctly, you can basically re-use it as a template / re-run same sql commands on future exported draft classes. you can generate more players for the draft. not sure if quality distribution is based on quantity alone, or # of teams in 'top' league. you'd find out quickly enough. that won't make them more developed, but possibly improve # of quality prospects. |

I found out how. You go to free agents then click create a player. That gives you the option of having draft eligible players and they let you choose if they are fully developed 75% 50% or 25%(i set it to 75% and create 3 players with legend potential, 7 with star potential and 10 with good potential, this probably makes the TCR go crazy lol). So glad they have this feature. It's kind of cool to be able to draft a shortstop with 3 stars and 5 potential and either have him spend the rest of the year in the minors so you dont waste a year and also see how he does or you could just plug him in right awya.
