Does OOTP 11 Work With Vista???

I have a lap top with Vista and my last version of OOPT was v.9. It worked just fine but I have been reading here that some Vista users have had problems.

I want to buy it today but I am worried. Anyone know if it was designed for use with Vista and Beta tested in Vista, etc?

Any tips for a Vista user?

Developed on Vista 32 bit. Tested on Vista 32 bit and 64 bit, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and Windows XP.

Same OS here, no issues with either game.

My brand new Windows 7 laughs at all of you.

Sadly, i still don't have the game due to me blowing all my money that i earned on other games.

Windows 7 64-bit is working fine for me. Unlike OOTP10, I didn't need to disable DEP or anything.

Wish I could say the same Win7 64bit, and it won't install. DEP settings adjusted. Security Essentials turned off. Administrative privileges given. Compatibility mode experimented with. Nothing.

Waiting for another service ticket response.

This is very frustrating.

I didn't need to do anything to install on my Windows 7, what kind of error are you getting?

I had some problems installing this at first to Win7 64bit, the installer would do nothing but it was solved by redownloading the installer from an other mirror and it worked like a charm

Works fine on my Vista 64 bit laptop but I will say I've had problems with several other games that ran flawlessly on XP. A couple I've just given up on. No probs with OOTP 11 thus far though.

I used a different download mirror, and it works fine. Mirror # 5 is the one that gave me the bum setup file, I think.
