Corrupt database
I broke it already! Just tried to load the MAL quick start. Got an error telling me 'The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.
I feel sad. Edit - Is this the first complaint?! That makes me feel even worse. |

Everything copied correctly, but once it told me to go to Add Human Manager it gave no such option on the screen. I then went back to the Main Menu to hit Continue Game and it gave me that error message.
It worked the third time I tried it however. |

Went to the OOTP Main Screen and then clicked Continue Game and got the same error. The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version. |

On the main screen, click Quickstart game.
Choose Fictional Quickstart.quick. Name the file. Click Create Game. Click OK. Under the game Menu, click OOTP Main Screen. Click Continue Game. That's when I got the error. However, it worked fine the second time. One thing I noticewd is that this time, there were other options under the game menu. The first time I tried the quickstart, there was no option to Add General Manager or Select Human Manager. This time there was. Maybe it's a quirk of the first time you run the game???? |

I had the same error the first time I tried it too. It worked without problem the second time though

It looks like this only happens after a fresh install and the first thing you do is a quickstart game... we'll fix this soon
