Not sure if this helps, but an RWBL league member saved the original deleted thread and they can be viewed here:
Page One. Page Two. Devaneyfan could answer this better than anyone, but it sounds like the changes took place over the course of the season. Maybe the most damning evidence is in this thread at FOFC where it is pointed out that two teams were possibly being edited and perhaps making stealth trades. Then HM screamed that the team was owned by an owner named Mustang and that the editing of TWO teams was very peculiar. Almost on cue, Mustang posts later in the thread that he renounced ownership at the beginning of the season. Whoops. So - HornsManiac, the COMMISSIONER of the league, doesn't know who is owners are? Come on now... And all of this crying about trolling and flaming is just an attempt to further obscure the truth. Trust me. |

If this had been a Christian league, it would not have happened.

Scotty Baby. Don't you know that we never let things die? Well, unless we get bored or a cake is burning or something.

Who would have thought so much drama, intrigue, scandal, and treachery could be found tucked away in the Tech Support forum?
BTW, I notice HM has been strangely silent over the past few hours. Makes me wonder if it's true that you can die from embarrassment. |

We are the same person.
When I snort crack and chug Fresca, I post as Subby. I only post as HornsManiac after I have systematically killed one of my slightly overweight and/or effeminate classmates... |

All in all a VERY entertaining read!
I'll keep all other opinions to myself. Hopefully the situation gets resolved satisfactorily!

Subby hit exactly what I was going to point out. Further investigation showed that Atlanta and Milwaukee were edited and that a player from Milwaukee was edited and traded to Atlanta, although Milwaukee had no owner and the trade was never posted.
The only way for the conspiracy theory to work is that one of the two other people that had the server password had to: (1) edit players on both teams; (2) transfer a player from one team to another; and (3) get lucky in that the commissioner for some bizarre reason would download the league to his hard drive, thus overwriting the master copy on his hard drive. That's quite a leap. Even after Andreas' posts, I'm still fuzzy on the resolution. If we want to dissolve the league and get our order IDs freed, what is the process? After this, I doubt I'll ever play in online league again. As long as HM doesn't get server space with my ID, I really don't care what happens to the league. |
