Stuck on HoF

Can't seem to nominate HoF. See screenshot. There used to be something for me to click and then nominate but the last two seasons, there is no way for me to nominate. I can't keep playing because it says there are unanswered mail. The only way around it is to delete the message. Please advise.

If you have a save where it's still stuck like that (i.e. the message hasn't been deleted yet), please upload it (instructions here), we'd like to have a look.

So i had two seasons like that back-to-back. and then i posted this message and then the season right after, it worked again. if it comes back, i'll upload the save file.
