I'm new! Need help getting MODS downloaded. Errors!

New to OOTP and the game itself seems like a dream come true but...

I'm having trouble getting the stadiums and uniforms right for historical teams. I'm not the most computer savvy person and most of the tech instructions on here mean absolutely nothing to me. I just want to play games in the right historical stadiums, not have Biggio with a mustache, etc.

I just downloaded the game on 2 PC's and I'm having the same issue with both while trying to download & install mods.

Using "OOTPmods" server I get a server error (says "not responding") when I try to download 'in-game' and when I try to download from "file galleries" in the Community Hub, it downloads but then it says "network error" and the file itself, after the download, says "unconfirmed"

My registration confirmation e-mail at the community hub never came. Is registration required to download files from there?

Someone please point me in the right direction! I just want to get started!

this link might be of help. as far as i know, it's the only working one, but that isn't gospel. it's the only one i know of and use anyway.

the actual line you need to add is this:

"http://ootpmods.com/mods/ootpmods16.xml" (without the quotation marks.)
