what is the simplest way to play a game with teams from different years ?

for example, if I wanted to play the 1972 A's vs the 1981 Yankees ?

Simplest way? Load the 72 or 81 season, create the other team by hand

thx - but I cannot figure out how to get started ?- can u give me step by step ?- create new historical or custom ? when i try to import teams i have to choose an era or block of seasons, don't want to do that - just specific teams from different years - also, having a problem finding the database quoted in the pop up box ( master csv or historical database ) - I do not see them in the folder trees

You would want to start a new historical league. You'd ha e to purchase the season you would want to start.... I'd actually just either purchase both seasons you want the team from, or just buy the entire seasons pack.

Load up one of the years, go into the editor, write down the attributes of every player on the team you want to add. Open up the other season, go to the team you want to replace and manually edit every player.

You won't have their previous years stats, but this is the only way I can think of to do this.

Seems very tedious if you ask me.

Buy OOTP 17. What you are asking for is incredibly easy with OOTP17. It is only 9.99.
