Career progression?
I am building a league with players that are in the hall of fame, have been MVPs, ROY's, Cy Young winners, etc. but I am importing them all in their rookie seasons. If I import them into the database for the league, will they have career progression or will it stay with the year that I import them. For example, will Carl Yastrzemski stay with the 1961 numbers as the league progresses or will he develop? I have played OOTP for years but have never really tried to build my own league from scratch.

They will progress and get better. Might want to turn development off otherwise they may not do what they did IRL. Some might be better some may suck, With it off they will usually be closer to their career #'s except Ruth who might have 1200 HR no matter what your settings are.
