minors roster size and AI trading (stats only)
2 questions......using MLB quickstart...I would like to have a roster limit in the minors (currently no limit) if I use what I believe are the real roster limits for my minors I get some teams releasing good prospects. What do you guys use, if any at the start of your league?
Second question....I like playing stats only. For the trade AI settings I have under AI player evaluations ratings weight 0% current year 55% previous year 30% and 2 years ago 15%......is that a good start? What do you "stats only" veterans use? Thank you |

Careful puttting too much weight on current year. It makes it easy too easy to fleece the AI for a guy having a bad year. And, it makes it too easy to trade a guy for a spec that is having an unusually good year. Balance out your AI evaluations and give some weight to rating so the AI is not at a complete disadvantage. 31 25 23 21 works well. Last edited by Honorable_Pawn; 04-21-2013 at 07:54 AM. |
